Student Fee Review Board opens applications for FY 2018-2019

ALBUQUERQUE – The UNM Student Fee Review Board (SFRB) opened applications for the FY 2018-2019 budget recommendation process on July 21st. UNM units seeking to receive funding from student fees are encouraged to submit all necessary forms before the September 8th deadline.

SFRB is made up of undergraduate and graduate student representatives who help decide how $10 million of student fees are allocated across the university. Committee members were chosen from different departments and schools across campus. This year, GPSA President Alaa Elmaoued will serve as the Chair, with ASUNM President Noah Brooks serving as Vice-Chair. UNM students are always encouraged to attend forums, deliberations, and any other public hearings to make their voice heard as to where their student activity fees go. These student fees fund everything from the University’s libraries to our many resource centers. During the FY 2017-18 process, over 30 units within the University applied for program funding through the SFRB process. This year,
